Customer Experience

What to Expect at Northwest Suburban Pain Center:

  1. A detailed check-in process – for the most effective use of time during your appointment, ensure you carry with you a detailed medical history, medications list and reports and CD of any imaging for the relevant area of pain. If you did not have imaging, we will order based your evaluation.

  2. Northwest Suburban Pain Associates prides itself on the most up to date interventional pain management techniques, and that is our primary method of treating. We do not believe in strict medication management intervention is an option.

  3. If your insurance does not require prior authorization for procedures, you can be a candidate for being added on for same day procedures.

  4. Detailed descriptions for the procedures and post procedure instructions will be provided at your appointment.

  5. If you are a prospective new patient to our practice, and have seen a pain doctor previously, or are on controlled opioid medications from any other provider, please have all your records faxed over to 847-255-4344 in order to be assessed for candidacy.

  6. We advise all current patients to ensure follow up appointments are made at least 2 weeks in advance, so we may justify all patients’ time on provider schedules. The BEST time to make follow up appointments is on your way out of current appointment.

  7. Do not hold any medication, unless advised by your doctor at NSPC.

  8. All personal property is the patient’s responsibility. The management is not responsible for any negligent loss or damage while on clinic premises.

  9. Your photo ID is essential during your check in at our clinic.
